Intermediate frequency furnace condenser cause of three kinds of damage and repair methods

Electric capacitor is used to compensate the reactive power of the intermediate frequency electric furnace, intermediate frequency electric furnace in because at high voltage large current work condition, reactive power electric capacitor need to use water, should be carefully maintenance, to ensure the normal working conditions. Usually the main reason for the damage of capacitor during maintenance of intermediate frequency furnace performance for the following aspects:
1. The intermediate frequency electric furnace overvoltage:
Lining thick 1.1: lead to high load change, decrease of power, the capacitor voltage fluctuation increases.
Too fast: 1.2 furnace in steel tie furnace in a short period of time, no molten steel in the hearth, furnace charge, the short circuit between the discharge frequency current caused by flashing, load resonant point drift amplitude is large, easy to cause short inverter Angle is too large, inverter voltage instantaneous rise.
Burden is 1.3: in the furnace after a period of time, current and frequency is very low, direct current resistance energy continuous recharge capacitance. If the load is lighter, capacitor of low frequency oscillation, easy to cause the capacitor over voltage single direction.
2. The intermediate frequency electric furnace overheating:
2.1 cooling water is unqualified, fouling can cause cooling capacity is insufficient, capacitor table core temperature difference is big, center of lower pressure. Water flow is insufficient, will cause a condenser temperature on the high side as a whole. Too strong to cause corrosion leakage of water cooling coil local point, cooling water mixed with insulating oil, which reduces the insulating ability greatly.
2.2 conductive loose pile head: electric capacitor because of the large current, lead to more pile head. For hot work and the steel cold alternating downtime, easy to cause the pile head is loose. Need to regularly check tighten screw.
2.3 environment temperature is too high, poor ventilation, environment temperature is too high, because of the water cooling coil to the capacitor shell, shell absorption of heat by coil away too, reduces the cooling capacity of cooling coil.
3. The intermediate frequency electric furnace over current:
3.1 ultra frequency: size of capacitor current, is proportional to the frequency. Usually in full furnace steel, damage of capacitor. Because with highest frequency furnace, electric current is the largest.
3.2 short circuit capacitor: a capacitor is a short circuit will cause a short circuit around the capacitor discharge, instantaneous large current is produced.
